Artist's Description

I painted my Koi Pond as my fish gather to eat. I planned on only having butterfly koi that have longer flowing fins, but was gifted a few Japanese koi. they have all grown to have beautiful patterns and as they spawn new babies each season I have enjoyed watching the fry grow with emerging patterns and colors and a few with butterfly fins. When I built this pond 10yrs ago I put in the water lilies from my mom and dads pond we built over 30yrs ago in Idaho.
